Join NYCEDC and Civic Hall on Thursday, May 12, as the six winners of BigApps 2015 showcase their civic tech innovations and the major milestones they've achieved during BigApps' first-ever in-depth post-competition mentor program.
Civic innovation requires a strong, supportive network to drive success forward. This year NYCEDC and Civic Hall Labs, the non-profit project arm of Civic Hall, piloted a post-competition mentor program designed to move the six BigApps winning teams from promising prototypes to budding civic tech start-ups.
Since January, BigApps winners have won grants, been accepted to accelerators, and won RFP bids. Come meet winners Addicaid, Benefit Kitchen, CityCharge, IssueVoter, JustFix.nyc, and Treasures and learn how you can support them in their journey to make a better NYC.
Please note that this is an event with limited capacity and RSVPs will close once capacity is reached. Only those on the RSVP list will be admitted.
